Green Power Magazine Launches!

We are very happy to announce that Green Power Magazine has launched.

With the introduction of the world-class Green Energy and Economy Act, Ontario is in the throes of a green energy revolution.  Al Gore, Hermann Scheer, David Suzuki and Denis Hayes, to name a few, think Ontario is the best green energy jurisdiction in North America. Green Power Magazine is needed to focus on the people making the new policies and projects for Ontario’s green energy future.

The Magazine is of interest to industry leaders, government, investors, ENGO’s, media and the public. Editorial content includes industry issues and special themed reports, all emphasizing insight, analysis context and debate. It’s all here to keep the green energy industry informed and inspired. Green Power is now required reading for anyone associated with the emerging green energy field.

We know that our featured “Top 20 Movers and Shakers” behind the Green Energy Act of Ontario will generate lots of exciting discussion and debate. We want to hear what you think of the rankings.

The debut issue of Green Power was unveiled at the office of the Community Energy Partnerships Program and Community Power Fund. Hosted by environmental lawyer and co-publisher of Green Power Magazine, David Donnelly, and MaRS CleanTech Practice Lead Advisor Tom Rand, the event featured special acknowledgment to cover stars, Community Power Fund Executive Director Deb Doncaster and former Ontario Minister of Energy George Smitherman, for their essential role in the development and launch of Ontario’s Green Energy and Economy Act. Many of the top 20 ‘Movers and Shakers’ behind the GEEA, featured in the magazine, were also in attendance.

We are especially excited for the upcoming second edition of Green Power Magazine which will feature the green energy industry’s “Top 20 Leaders”. We will be profiling the leaders and companies that will help Ontario to become a global leader in clean, renewable energy and conservation, creating thousands of jobs, economic prosperity, energy security and climate protection. We want to hear from readers as to who should be on the list. We have complied a voting panel of top industry leaders make the final decision.
